Facial Peeling and Scrubs
Peeling and exfoliation help remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture. With the right product, skin can feel softer and smoother, gain more radiance, and be better prepared for subsequent serums and face creams.
At Yellow Rose, you'll find both chemical peels with fruit acids, enzymatic exfoliation, and facial scrubs for different skin types and needs.
What is the difference between a peel and a scrub?
Peels and scrubs remove dead skin cells in different ways:
- AHA peel: fruit acids exfoliate the skin surface without the need for scrubbing.
- Enzyme peel: enzymes help dissolve and remove dead skin cells.
- Facial scrub: fine particles mechanically exfoliate the skin through light circular movements.
Which peel should I choose?
- Dull and uneven skin: choose an AHA peel that helps improve skin texture and radiance.
- Dry and rough skin: choose a mild, moisturizing exfoliant.
- Oily and impure skin: choose an exfoliating product with salicylic acid or purifying enzymes.
- Sensitive skin: choose a very mild exfoliant and avoid acids and scrubs if the skin is irritated or damaged.
Yellow Rose Fruit Acids AHA Gel
Yellow Rose Fruit Acids AHA Gel 30 ml is a chemical peel for home use with 10% AHA from five different fruit acids. It helps remove dead skin cells and contributes to a smoother, clearer, and more refined skin surface.
The gel is used in the evening on cleansed and completely dry skin. It does not need to be rinsed off or neutralized. The product should not be used on sensitive, irritated, or damaged skin.
Yellow Rose Hyaluronic Face Scrub
Yellow Rose Hyaluronic Face Scrub With Flower Extracts combines mechanical and enzymatic exfoliation. Bamboo, lotus particles, and an exfoliating enzyme help remove dead skin cells, while three forms of hyaluronic acid contribute to a soft and moisturized skin feel.
The scrub is gently massaged with light circular movements and then removed with a damp sponge or lukewarm water.
How often should I exfoliate?
Start gently and adjust use according to skin type, product, and skin tolerance. For many, exfoliating once a week is sufficient. Some products can be used more often according to the specific product instructions.
- Do not use AHA peel and facial scrub on the same evening.
- Combine carefully with retinoids and other exfoliating acids.
- Do not use peel on irritated, damaged, or severely inflamed skin.
- Always use high SPF sunscreen during the day when using acids.
